New flagship Accuphase C-3900S preamplifier + DP-570S SACD/CD player

Two exciting new Accuphase products are about to launch in the UK – C-3900S reference preamplifier and DP-570S SACD/CD player.

Precision stereo preamplifier C-3900S is the new reference; the culmination of 50+ years of Accuphase engineering.

Designed for uncompromising, high-end audio and packed full of Accuphase proprietary tech, C-3900S represents the absolute pinnacle for this unique Japanese manufacturer, and a significant improvement on its predecessor, C-3900, adopting its latest technologies
in both circuit design and mechanical structure.

Enhanced Dual Balanced AAVA volume control alongside ANCC (Accuphase Noise and Distortion Cancelling Circuit) technology represents circuitry topology that achieves the ultimate in volume control.

Key features:

• Improved signal-to-noise ratio through increased number of parallel output amplifiers
• Enhanced Dual Balanced AAVA volume control – better transparency and lower noise floor: a 30% reduction in noise compared to prior balanced AAVA models
• Improved headphone amp – redesigned, with fully discrete circuit and parallel push-pull output stage
• ANCC noise cancelling via secondary internal amplifier, minimising distortion
• Separate toroidal power transformers and independent unit amplifiers for left and right channels to eliminate interference.
• L/R balance adjustment increased to 115 steps from 33
• Increased robustness – refined internal structure and component layout. The chassis is reinforced for extreme rigidity, weighing approximately 25.3 kg

DP-570S SACD PLAYER is a 5th-generation MDS SACD/CD player featuring a refined, rigid transport mechanism for quiet, accurate disc reading. It features an ESS 32-bit DAC in a 4-parallel circuit with ANCC noise-reduction technology, offering significantly lower distortion, improved linearity and support for hi res files. (DSD 22.5MHz, PCM 384kHz/32-bit).
